Wrattenbullie started with a humble beginning in 1965 and has steadily evolved into a well established successful stud with both success at Adelaide royal and Hamilton shows, Wrattenbullie have been building numbers up to be now selling 130 rams annually.

We have conducted an annual ram sale in conjunction with the Leenala Poll Dorset stud since 1982 . Due to the dispersal of the Leenala stud, Wrattenbullie will continue to have its own annual sale.

We are currently mating 360 ewes, plus 80 ewe lambs annually. Genetics are introduced through an AI program in which our better ewes are mated to some of the elite genetic in the breed.

Performance recording with Lambplan began in the early 1990s with the use of ASBVs becoming an important tool in the selection of genetic material. Biosecurity has always been an important part of our operation with the property being MN3V for OJD and the stud being accredited brucellosis
free.
